Sebastián Rodríguez ventured from his home country to New York, where he was fortunate enough to work under the guidance of a master Kosher baker.

Here in the Canary Islands he has studied with Rogelio Quinteros, Encarna Suarez and at HECANSA. A finalist in the 2011 Que Bueno Chef of the year. He now puts all his experience, talent and creativity into every dish that leaves the kitchen.

Seba is married and has two boys both of whom love football.

Restaurant Manager

Peter Borg has a complicated role, he is manager and a waiter. When not involved in one of these roles, which is rare, he can be found in his hammock with one, two or even three dogs!

Dining Room Manager

Silviu Stanescu is married to Maria, who is Russian and they have a beautiful little girl, Georgia Olivia. Having spent much of his adult life travelling or working aboard cruise ships, he decided the best place for his little girl to grow up is Tenerife. With a wide range of experience on cruise ships and restaurants from Puerto Rico, US and Italy, Silviu is our Dining Room Manager.


Andrew Day was lucky to have a professional wine taster as a grandfather, which meant that he was introduced to the tastes, smells and unusual descriptions that are characteristic of good wines from an early age. As well as enjoying wine he also has a liking for Scottish Whisky, especially those” peaty” ones from the West Coast. This is not to say that wine and whisky are the limits of his knowledge. Classic cocktails and good Italian coffee are also within his realm. If asked to recommend a cocktail he would suggest a Magic Bus for easy drinking and the Diana’s Bitters for those who like it strong and bitter.
